Exciting Manager position with responsibility for the Norwegian subsidiary/sales organization

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the Norwegian (Sales) team (15 FTE) and customers in the Norwegian market
  • Responsible for the sales and activity plan regarding the sales area
  • Personnel responsibility for employees in the sales area
  • Responsible for the sales area's sales and overhead budget
  • Work according to the current authorization rules and approval policy of Ruukki Construction
  • Develop and drive execution of strategic and operational key account plan aligned to Plannja and customer business objectives
  • Identify customer needs and drive opportunities in line with Plannja overall business strategy, portfolio, product development and plans     
     

Principal Accountabilities:

 

Plan, organize and lead the sales work within the Norwegian market
Ensure that the relevant Plannja product portfolio is deployed in full, meets competitiveness requirements and delivers a strong value proposition
Define, review and drive activities to improve line performance and reduce overall customer system cost
Enable profitable sales growth in line with Plannja's overall strategic objectives
Secure accurate sales forecasting and opportunity pipeline management
Collaborate on market and product issues with Customer Support, Marketing, Product Management and Operations

Candidate Profile:

 

Academic and professional background, fields of experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Minimum university education within Civil Engineering, Economics or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from the construction or roofing industry
  • Exceptional sales and negotiating skills
  • Previous managerial experience
  • Understanding of production and manufacturing, ideally within adjacent industries.
  • Good skills in results and profitability analysis
  • Experience from Sales with success in achieving assigned expectations and goals
  • Marketing and product management knowledge will be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and a Scandinavian language
